For a complete mountain bike experience live right in the heart of the forest!

Marthrown is a friendly, family run centre where you can stay and use as a base. Mountain bikers are welcomed, we have car access right up to the door, where you’ll find a courtyard set-up with a large communal kitchen and dining room, four rooms in two bunkhouses (total of 27 beds), bike wash and lock-up areas. We can provide home-made meals for you as well.

Fancy a go at the Dark Side? You might want to relax in our sauna afterwards!

Not far from the local bike hire/repair shop.

You could step back in time and stay in the teepee or roundhouse (built as a replica of a Ironage dwelling) amongst the trees, and have a night in around the fire.
