Daisy Moorhead - St Michael's Primary
Daisy's design stood out for its stong design and message - 'get on your bike and go!' and that it showed the 'fun' that you can have on a bike.
It is being redrawn at the moment to be made up into real t-shirts - Well Done Daisy!

The competition ran from about April, we gave out the leaflets at the schools around Dumfries and Nithsdale as we took the BMX display team out, at events run by or with Biking Heaven and through DGC Leisure and Sport Department. We had about 60 entries, many of them from St Michaels. They were judged by members of the Stepping Stanes committee and the three best were all from St Michaels! The prizes - a new BMX bike, and runners-up vouchers were provided by G&G CycleCentre in Dumfries, and presented by Steve McCreadie at St Michaels Primary. Thank you to all the many people who helped to run the competition.
