New Coaching Programme for July to October click here

On Saturday 16th February we held a Stepping Stanes race at Carlingwark Outdoor Centre, Lochside Park Castle Douglas. This was the second Steppingstanes race of the winter. 17 young people took part, the overall winner was Ryan Fenwick, 2nd was Ross Green and in third place was Morgan McConnel.

The fastest girl, Jemma Fenwick, was closely followed by Kirsty Howatt.

The next race will be sponsored by the Breakpad and will be on the 9th of March in Kirroughtree Forest.

8th Dec Although Saturday 8th Dec was a bit cold it was great to see many of the TCL's and near TCL's as well as some who are interested in becoming a coach there. It was also good to use the Shed and its log-burning stove and endless supply of hot drinks and cakes.
As many folk got a bit cold there are a few suggested ideas.

Saturday 5th: those that braved the cold enjoyed a session based on using gears.  Both groups headed off together to do a warm up followed by some exercises based around gears.  Keith took the fast group and Greg took the slower group, both groups continued on the theme of gears and then back to the shed for that well deserved hot drink!!
